Homestyle Sausage Gravy Recipe

1 lb sausage (pork breakfast roll) flavor of your choice
3 tbsp butter
1 tsp worcestershire sauce more or less to taste
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
3 cup milk


  1. In a large skillet, cook and crumble sausage over medium heat. Once cooked, drain sausage, but reserve 1 tablespoon of sausage grease and return it to the skillet. Discard any excess grease.
  2. Add butter and worcestershire sauce to skillet with sausage heat until butter is melted, stirring frequently.
