Chocolate Chip Coffee Cake Recipe

1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
1 cup white sugar
2 large eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups Gold Medal UNBLEACHED all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup white sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon


  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan. In a large bowl, cream the butter, 1 cup of sugar, eggs, sour cream, vanilla, baking powder and baking soda.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Add the flour and stir to combine.
  5. Batter will be thick.
