1/2 cup unsalted butter 115g, room temperature
3/4 cup light brown sugar 180g, lightly packed
1 large egg room temperature
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 cup all-purpose flour 140g
1/4 tsp baking soda
pinch salt
4 oz white chocolate chips 3/4 cup, 115g
1/2 cup crushed candy canes 100g


  1. Preheat oven to 400F and line two baking sheets with parchment or silicone mats.
  2. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. Beat butter and sugar with an electric mixer until pale and fluffy (approx 3 mins).
